Welcome to my counseling practice, embarking upon the journey of self exploration and who you choose to partner with is a important and critical decision. Out of all of the people that you could choose from, I am glad that you chose me to help you. I believe that the client is “agent of change”, it is you that has the power within yourself to evolve and transform, and the therapist is a facilitator of the client’s work; with the support, knowledge and guidance of the therapist highlighting key areas that require attention rather than offering solutions.

My Philosophy

To put it simply, the mind believes everything that it thinks, but not everything the mind thinks is true. (That is like believing everything that comes off of the Internet!). We are not going to put perfume on dirty laundry or simply talk about how we feel…that is NOT going to cut it. I teach my clients how to vet their beliefs, thoughts that we are emotionally invested in, about what has happened in the past (memory) or what we think is going to happen in the future (imagination), as it is our thinking is what gives rise to destructive behaviors and patterns that interfere with you obtaining your goals (and ultimately quashing your happiness)! Our goal: to get you unstuck.
